Pawn Shop Near Pompano Beach: Every City Within About 20 Miles

DD Pawn Loans is a licensed Florida pawnbroker (Chapter 539, Florida Statutes) with one store, at 2751 W Atlantic Blvd #101, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. If you are looking for a pawn shop near Pompano Beach from a neighboring city, this page lists every city within about 20 miles of our counter, the main route in, and a link to that city's own page where we have one. One counter handles pawn loans, buying gold and jewelry, and check cashing. Walk in; no appointment is needed.

The store is on W Atlantic Blvd between Florida's Turnpike and Powerline Road, about a mile and a half west of I-95 Exit 36. Miles below are rough road miles from each city's center. Traffic on State Road 7 and I-95 changes the trip time more than the distance does.

Cities Without Their Own Page

We do not build a page for every town. For the cities below, here is the honest version: how to get here and what is worth the drive.

North Lauderdale

North Lauderdale, just south of Margate, is one of the closest cities to our counter. From McNab Road, take Rock Island Road or State Road 7 north to Atlantic Blvd and turn right; after SR-7 you pass Banks Road and go over the Turnpike, and we are in the 2700 block. It is close enough for quick errands: cashing a check, sending money through Western Union, or a small pawn loan on a phone or tool.

Oakland Park

Oakland Park has pawn shops of its own, so the reason to make the drive is to sell gold or a watch with the testing done in front of you. From the east side, Dixie Highway runs north into Pompano Beach; turn west on Atlantic Blvd and pass under I-95. From west Oakland Park, Oakland Park Blvd or Commercial Blvd to I-95 north and Exit 36 is quicker. Our Fort Lauderdale gold page has a full section on Oakland Park and Wilton Manors.

Lighthouse Point

Lighthouse Point is a small residential city between Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach, much of it on canals. The quickest drive is Sample Road west to I-95, south two exits to Atlantic Blvd, then west about a mile and a half to just past Powerline Road. If you are bringing a watch or a diamond piece, see how we handle luxury watches and diamonds.

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

From Lauderdale-by-the-Sea you can skip the interstate: take A1A north along the beach to Atlantic Blvd at the Pompano Beach pier, then drive west across the Intracoastal, Federal Highway, Dixie Highway and I-95. If A1A traffic is slow, Commercial Blvd west to I-95 north and Exit 36 works too. Gold and silver are weighed and tested in front of you before you hear a number.

Hillsboro Beach

Hillsboro Beach is the thin strip of A1A between Deerfield Beach and the Hillsboro Inlet. Head south on A1A over the inlet bridge into Pompano Beach, turn right on Atlantic Blvd at the beach, and stay on it about four miles west to Powerline Road; our plaza is just past it. If you are clearing out silver flatware or old coins, read how we buy silver and coins first.

Wilton Manors

From the Wilton Drive side of Wilton Manors, Dixie Highway runs straight north through Oakland Park to Atlantic Blvd; turn west there. From the west side, take Andrews Avenue north to Oakland Park Blvd and get on I-95 north to Exit 36. If you have a bag to pawn, read how we handle designer handbags; each one is checked at the counter before any offer.

Lauderdale Lakes

Lauderdale Lakes sits along State Road 7 north of Oakland Park Blvd, so the drive is one road: SR-7 north about five miles to Atlantic Blvd, then right and just under three miles east past the Turnpike. The same counter handles check cashing and bill payment, so one stop can cover a pawn loan and an errand. Our Lauderhill page covers the same SR-7 route in more detail.

Parkland

Parkland is a planned trip rather than a quick stop: roughly 9 to 14 miles depending on where you start. From Hillsboro Blvd or Holmberg Road, take State Road 7 south through Coconut Creek and Margate to Atlantic Blvd, then turn east. School traffic on SR-7 and University Drive adds time, so late morning is easiest. The Coral Springs page has a Parkland section with two more routes.

Plantation

From Plantation, State Road 7 north from Broward Blvd or Sunrise Blvd runs through Lauderhill and Lauderdale Lakes and into Margate; turn east on Atlantic Blvd. At rush hour Florida's Turnpike north to the Atlantic Blvd exit is steadier. If you are thinking about a vehicle pawn loan, plan a ride home: it is a pawn, so the vehicle stays with us until the loan is repaid.

Sunrise

Sunrise is long east to west, so the route depends on your side of town. From east Sunrise, take Florida's Turnpike north from Sunrise Blvd to the Atlantic Blvd exit and turn east; we are a short way past the interchange. From the Sawgrass Mills side, the Sawgrass Expressway north to the Turnpike, then south to Atlantic Blvd, keeps you on highways. If you are bringing a laptop, see what we check on laptops before you leave.

Davie

Davie is near the edge of our area, about 15 to 18 miles away. The simplest drive is Florida's Turnpike north from Griffin Road or I-595 to the Atlantic Blvd exit, then east for a minute. A drive this long makes sense for bigger items, so if you are bringing tools or equipment, call (561) 774-9292 first to make sure we can take it.

Dania Beach

From Dania Beach, take I-95 north from Griffin Road or Stirling Road to Exit 36, Atlantic Blvd, and head west about a mile and a half; plan on 25 minutes or more outside rush hour. There are gold buyers closer to you, so come up if you would rather pawn than sell; our collateral loans page explains how a pawn loan works.

Delray Beach

Boca Raton sits between Delray Beach and our store, so this is a 17 to 20 mile drive south on I-95 to Exit 36. It is worth it mostly for a piece you want tested and priced in person, such as a watch or a diamond ring. Our Boca Raton page has the I-95 and Powerline Road directions from the north.

Before You Drive

Bring a valid government photo ID; Florida law requires it for every pawn and every sale. If your item has a charger, box or papers, bring those too. See items we pawn for what we take. For today's hours, check our contact page or our Google listing, and call (561) 774-9292 if you are coming from the far end of this list.
