Searching for the Best Pawn Shop Near Me? Read the Reviews First
If you typed best pawn shop near me from Pompano Beach, Margate, Coral Springs or Fort Lauderdale, the fastest way to compare shops is to read the Google reviews behind each rating. We do not print our rating or a review count here, because both change as reviews come in. Open the DD Pawn Loans listing on Google and read what customers wrote this week. That listing is our shop at 2751 W Atlantic Blvd #101, Pompano Beach, FL 33069: a licensed Florida pawnbroker (Ch. 539, F.S.), gold buyer and check-cashing store under one roof.
What Customers Mention Most
Four themes keep coming up in our reviews:
- Fair gold and jewelry payouts. Chains, rings, bracelets and broken pieces are weighed and tested in front of you, and the number is explained before you decide. See how it works on our sell gold in Pompano Beach page.
- Loans done in minutes. Bring the item and a valid ID. The pawn ticket spells out the loan amount, charges and due date before you sign, as Florida law requires. Details are on our collateral loans page.
- Friendly, straight-talking staff. Reviewers describe being treated with respect whether they come in to pawn or to sell.
- Honest testing you can watch. Gold, diamonds and watches are tested at the counter, not in a back room, and you can ask questions at every step.
If Something Goes Wrong
No shop gets every visit right. If an offer, a loan or a redemption did not go the way you expected, call (561) 774-9292 and ask for the manager, or come back to the counter and ask in person. We would rather fix a problem than read about it later. Have your pawn ticket number ready so we can pull up the transaction.
