When All Seems Lost
Sometimes getting an emergency loan isn't as easy as the commercials make it seem. It's not yet payday, and payday loans aren't an option. This is a common scenario — and there's an easy, affordable way out.
What Is Pawning and How Does It Work?
Pawning is the simple process of exchanging your personal valuables for fast cash. Your valuables can range widely — from watches, jewelry, and musical instruments to automobiles and water-sport equipment. Borrow only as much as you need, and you'll have a better chance of repaying the loan with interest and retrieving your item.
Find a Credible Pawnbroker
Search "pawn shop near Pompano Beach, FL" and DD Pawn Loans is your best bet, with some of the best rates around — making our loans more affordable than local competitors. Far from Florida? No problem. Call (561) 774-9292. Send a photo of your valuable and a representative can assess it quickly, give you an estimate, and arrange the next steps. Your legal ID is required to confirm ownership, and we ask a few questions to protect both parties.
The Loan Terms
Once ownership is confirmed, our rep gives you a preliminary offer; you negotiate and agree on a loan amount, then review our terms. Loans start at $200, and everything of value is considered. Interest starts at 5% and is charged every 30 days, due at the end of each 30-day period.
What If I Can't Pay the Interest?
Failure to pay the interest is a default: you lose the item to the pawnbroker, but you keep the money that was loaned to you. It's never reported to the credit bureau as bad debt.
